Sycuan Sucks

Okay so Brian and I decided to go to Sycuan since neither of us had ever gone there. Well it’s safe to say we’re NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!! GRRR … I managed to lose 60 bucks in like 20 minutes and we left the casino after only being there like 40 minutes. We spent more time driving too and from the casino than we did actually gambling. We should have gone to Barona, simple as that!

Well, anyway … It’s after 4:00AM and I’m gettin pretty tired. I SHOULD go to bed. I have a long day ahead of me today. Dan and I are going up to LA to see the Summer Sanitarium Tour. In case you don’t know, it’s a concert that starts at 3:00PM and goes till whenever. And playing at it, in order, are: Mudvayne, Deftones, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Metallica. Personally I’m excited to see Linkin Park and Metallica. Dan cares more to see Limp Bizkit and Metallica. But, ever since we were like in the 4th grade, we’ve loved Metallica and been wanting to see them in concert. Now, 11 years later, we finally are going to and we are so freakin stoked! Man, it should be an absolutely AWESOME show, I can’t wait! Well for 75 bucks for tickets, it better be an awesome show, hehe.

But yah, like I said, it’ll be a long day tomorrow so I really should get my sleep. We don’t know yet wheter we’re going to stay in a hotel or not. If we do, we’ll wait till we get down out of LA and probably stay in a hotel in Anaheim or somewhere like that. That way I won’t be trying to drive home tired as all hell.

So yeah, tonight I’m pissed that I lost money so quickly; but I’m also excited for the concert. YAY! Hehe … okay … good night everyone.

Goldfinger – “Spokesman”

What happened to dignity
Did it go away again?
Just like a worn out trend?
Will I still defend emotions?
What happened to honesty?
I don’t see it on the Top Ten
I only see it in what has been
Cuz I still defend devotion

Am I alone?

Don’t wanna rest
I don’t wanna breathe
When I wanna hear about life
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman
I don’t wanna test
I want to believe
The god damn singer wrote the song
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman

What happened to integrity
I don’t see it on MTV
All I see is choreography
And I’ll never be a dancer
What happened to puberty?
Bad skin and insecurity?
And who the fuck is Felicity?
Cuz I got problems of my own

Am I alone?

Don’t wanna rest
I don’t wanna breathe
When I wanna hear about life
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman
I don’t wanna test
I want to believe
The god damn singer wrote the song
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman

Don’t wanna rest
I don’t wanna breathe
When I wanna hear about life
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman
I don’t wanna test
I want to believe
The god damn singer wrote the song
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman

Don’t wanna rest
And don’t wanna breathe
When I wanna hear about life
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman
I don’t wanna test
I want to believe
The god damn singer wrote the song
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman

I Don’t wanna rest
And don’t wanna breathe
When I wanna hear about life
Don’t wanna hear a spokesman

disappointment

I am rather disappointed in myself. I have REALLY been lacking on postings. Although I have been looking into it,and not very many people really read this thing, so I’m sure no one has really missed anything. Life has been very busy lately. Between hanging out with Erica, yellows, and family, I haven had much time to post stuff. I just got finished posting a load of new pictures.

Since the last time I posted anything I’ve done quite a bit of stuff. We never did make it to the beach that day, it was too cloudy and cold. Although I kinda wish I were at the beach now. Courtney, Brian, and I ended up going to see Undercover Brother which was surprisingly better than I had expected. SOLID!

We’ve found out just how fun it can be to hook up two Xboxes together and play 8-player Halo. That was great, then we upped the ante and got a third Xbox in (Laura’s family got one) there and had 12 people playing at once. Though it started to lose its fun a little after playing like 4 days in a row, so I took a break and I’ll most likely be going over to Josh’s house tonight to play some more. We’ll see how that goes.

Erica and I managed to make it to the fair this year and it was pretty fun. It didn’t seem as good as I remembered it. Maybe it’s just harder to please me anymore, HA! We rode some rides and saw some exhibits. There are some talented artists and photographers over at Mt. Carmel. I was quite impressed with the work that some of them had submitted. We ran into Brian and Courtney as we were leaving and talked to them for about 15-20 minutes.

I wanted to go to Warped Tour this year, but I couldn’t make it because I had a bunch of work to get done before the holiday weekend and stuff and so I was at work until about 4:30 that afternoon. I was bummed, but it wasn’t the end of the world. I’m looking forward to seeing Goldfinger and Mest on July 26th, that should be an awesome show.

We had out of town family come out to help celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday on the 4th of July. That was fun and exciting having family I hadn’t seen in a while back out here. I got to hang out with my cousins and we had some good times. Erica and my cousin Jessica got to know each other and actually got along. They went for a run together Friday morning. The last of the out of towners left yesterday and everything has relatively gotten back to normal.

sorry

I’m sorry people. I’ve been slacking in putting up the logs. I’ve been busy doing other stuff as well being just plain lazy.

I’ve been having fun this week though. Thursday we got our midterms back in Bio, I got a C. That’s okay though, I’m probably just going to retake this class anyway online this summer. Friday we went to Laura’s and watched Ocean’s 11. I LOVE THAT MOVIE.

Yesterday Erica’s friend Grace had a birthday party. But Grace’s boyfriend put it together and made it a surprise party. I surprisingly had a lot of fun even though I’m not really around those people that often. We hung out and talked, played football at the park, and buried one of Grace’s friends in the sand and played on the swings and stuff. I felt like a kid again, it was great. Then last night we went back to Erica’s house, but her parents weren’t home yet, and they don’t like us being in the house together alone. They really don’t have anything to worry about, but that’s entirely beside the point. We played cards outside in the bed of my truck for about an hour, it was quite fun actually. We had my CD player going and everything. Her parents came home and we went inside and got food. Then we watched Ocean’s 11 (again). It was just as good the third time as it was the second, and the first.

Then I came home and worked a little on my computer and went to bed.
