Whenever I’m driving and have to sneeze, I always wonder what’s going to happen with my eyes shut. Well apparently my worries aren’t unfounded, heh.
BOSTON (AP) — An untimely sneeze nearly cost Andrew Hanson his life. The 42-year-old Weymouth man told authorities that a sneeze caused him to lose control of his pickup on Soldiers Field Road and plunge into Boston’s Charles River on Tuesday.
Hanson was able to wade to shore after escaping from the truck, which was partially submerged in 4 feet of water. He was not seriously injured but was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Lawrence Callahan of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation said Hanson told him that after he sneezed, “the next thing he knew he was in the river.
Guess I’ll have to sneeze with my eyes open next time. Oh wait, nevermind.
So “Weird” Al Yankovic has a new album coming out next week called “Straight Outta Lynwood”. The title is a parody of the N.W.A. album “Straight Outta Compton”, although it is probably also a nod to the popularity of subsequent “Straight Outta _______” rap album titles. It’s his first new album in 3 years, and if his lead single is any indication, it should be a good album.
He released the video for his lead single, “White and Nerdy”, on Monday of this week and after watching it, it hits me that the video is so painfully similar to my own life that it might as well be my autobiography. It’s a hilarious video, don’t get me wrong, but it might as well be about me (okay maybe with a few exceptions, I don’t play D&D haha).

Heh, it must be a geeky conference if at lunch time, we all go out to the hotel lobby, huddle around the all the power outlets, and work on our laptops for the duration of lunch.
I don’t know what’s worse though, the fact that we were all like this … or the fact that I felt compelled to take a picture of it.
